In the last five years, this company has promoted a business transformation process, based on innovation and new technologies, through which it has managed to boost its business models, making a qualitative leap in its competitive capacity and establishing a multi-domain and multi-brand strategy. , both B2B and B2C through their own websites and marketplaces.
Some digital projects implemented in its digital transformation have been Salud en Casa, developed for Bidafarma, a pharmaceutical distributor with more than 10,000 associated pharmacies, or Mi Compra Inteligente, a web portal that offers sales with special discounts to orthopedics and other businesses through a 100% service. % online that breaks with the traditional commercial proposal.
Under the umbrella of Quelton Ventures, a group of advanced digital services, other digital projects have also been carried out, such as: Rolando, advanced comprehensive management software; Quelton Accelerator, a digital consultancy to help other companies in their ecommerce development; and Quelton School, to train young talents in electronic commerce.
This 125-year-old company is already present in more than 30 European countries , representing up to 40% of its total orders in a progressive growth of its turnover. It is currently working to achieve a turnover of 101 million by 2025, the date on which it also hopes to increase its reach to around thirty countries, including a part of Latin America (Chile, Colombia and Peru) and the United Arab Emirates.
These national awards recognize the trajectory of small and medium-sized companies from all over the country, almost 3 million SMEs in Spain. Notably it is the only finalist company in 12 nominations consecutively in recent years. Computerization, innovation and artificial intelligence embedded in its global projects have allowed the enormous evolution of this century-old group, which has led it to achieve significant and continuous diversification of its activity with new lines of business always focused on health and welfare. In 2021, it launched new B2B and B2C marketplaces with innovative items for pets, childcare and fitness, among others.
In this context, and following the line of the most innovative large companies in the world, the R. Queraltó Group allocates 5% of its budget each year to the development of new projects, as an "incubator", many of them developed under the talent of the employees themselves. Likewise, the Equality It was another of the awards received for its parity between men and women in the workforce. Without going any further, in 2020 53% of the total workforce were women, which meant 23.25% more workers compared to the previous year, maintaining practically the same percentage during the 2021 financial year. The CEO, Francisco Abad, comments that “gender is not an important factor for us, but rather their skills and competencies. As a result of its long history, the company has also been recognized in 2022 as Family SME by Andalucía Management and best SME of the Year in Seville by the Chamber of Commerce, and is now competing for this same award at a national level. Likewise, in 2021, the best International eCommerce of Andalusia was also awarded for the Alas de Extenda awards, and the Aster Award for Western Andalusia from ESIC Sevilla, in the Digital Innovation category.
