Padded protector for the rails of children's beds. Its function is to prevent the user from hitting the wooden or metal rails of the bed and, in turn, to prevent accidental entrapment between the bars of the bed. This bumper is made of polyurethane foam inside and covered with a soft cotton cover with children's prints. It has 3 straps, which are used to hold and adjust the railing cover as desired or necessary.

Indications:

• Indicated as a protection device for patient safety.
• Protects the person from hitting the bed rails.
• Avoid possible entrapment of the patient between the railings as it prevents the patient from introducing the arms or legs between the bars.

Instructions:

• Easy placement and adaptation to the bed thanks to the fastening straps with a closing clip, which allows a quick and adequate adjustment.
• Place the padded part inside the railings when they remain raised. Pass the fastening straps around the bed rails and hook the clip fasteners.
• Confirm that the straps are securely attached to the bed rail.
• After placing the protector, make sure that there are no gaps between the bed and the railing or that there are no gaps between the bars through which the patient could fall or be injured by inserting limbs.
• Always remove the bed guard before lowering the rails.

Precautions:

• Make sure that once the protector has been adapted, there are no free areas or spaces between the bars or between the bed and the railing that could cause injuries or accidents.
• The material used is hypoallergenic, even so, there is always the possibility that in certain cases allergies or dermatitis may occur, in which case assess the possibility of removing or eliminating direct contact with the patient's skin.

Conservation:

• Before washing, close all clip closures.
• Wash cover by hand or machine at max. 30 ºC with a delicate program.
• Do not use bleach, color bleaches or abrasive products.
• Tumble dry low.
• Do not iron.
• Keep in a dry place and protected from sunlight and humidity.
